Stereotypical Bullshit
I really don't like this song, but I like the message, and it caused a rant, so here it is. And I like the chorus. It needs to be said at my funeral.
Nails painted black to match her soul,
This girl not only bites but scratches,
Living it up in her only little world,
Another being's blood rests upon her.
And all she wanted was to be heard, not seen,
To have her words reach minds,
Without being intersected by stereotypical thoughts.
Clothes like coal, made from her dark heart,
She glows when she thinks of death,
She'll slit her wrists and call it art,
But it's better then the insults carelessly thrown.
And all she wanted was to be heard, not seen,
To have her words reach minds,
Without being intersected by stereotypical thoughts.
Black lips pierce a matching sky,
And they say all that comes out is vile,
But in secret she plots, dreams and wonders, "Why...?"
She wipes the tears and carries on alone.
And all she wanted was to be heard, not seen,
To have her words reach minds,
Without being intersected by stereotypical thoughs.
By stereotypical bullshit.
She only wanted to be heard.
Stereotypical bullshit...
